About The Artiste(s)

Anuradha Sriram and Sriram Parasuram complement each other both in life and in their vocation, Indian music. Sriram is an enlightened scholar, versatile violinist, Hindustani and Carnatic musician and playback artiste. Anuradha is a gifted artiste, whose voice can scale three octaves effortlessly and is an achiever in several spheres, including Classical and playback singing.  They have carved a niche for themselves in Jugalbandi recitals, especially singing a piece of Carnatic music in a full-fledged Hindustani concert.

Being versatile artistes, they can traverse across both styles, Hindustani and Carnatic, with ease. While Anuradha sings in Hindustani, her husband takes up an equivalent raga in the Carnatic system and vice-versa. Or, they sing a Carnatic or a Hindustani composition together at times.
