The Three Great composers, Thyagaraja, Muthuswamy Dikshitar and Syama Sastry constitute the musical trinity (Mummoorthigal).

Mummoorthigal Vizha is an annual feature in the SIFAS calendar of events. The students and the teachers pay their homage and respect to the great composers by way of congregational singing of the Pancharatna Kritis of Saint Tyagaraja and other popular compositions by Sri Muthuswamy Dikshitar and Sri Syama Sastry.

Budding talents are showcased in this festive event.
