M Balamurali Krishna, a young and up-coming Carnatic vocalist from India has undergone nearly 15 years of training. He was initially under the tutelage of Shri R Meenakshi Sundaram, Shri Neyveli Santhanagopalan and Shri V Sundaresan. He is currently undergoing training under Shri P S Narayanaswami in Vocal music and Shri Karaikkudi R Mani in Mridangam.
He has performed at all the major Sabhas in and around Chennai and all over India. He toured the USA in the Year 2005.
He has won many Prizes and titles in Competitions conducted by various Sabhas, including the title of “Ganamruthamani” and the title of “Yuvakalajyoti. In addition to performing, he has released audio cassettes and CDs of his music.
