Swedha Rajaram began learning Bharathanatyam at the age of 5 in SIFAS. She is currently a 5th year student under the tutelage of Ms. Sunita Nair. Swedha is concurrently learning Carnatic music, under the guidance of Ms. Geetha Sridhar, also as a 5th year student.
Swedha is a keen and enthusiastic participant in various dance events organised by SIFAS. These include productions by SIFAS such as Bells and Trance and the annual Academy Day and the Navarathri festival at various temples. Her proudest moment was when she performed in the presence of the President of India, Dr. Abdul Kalaam on the occasion of his official visit to Singapore.
