Bhavya, an upcoming talent in the field of Bharathanatyam, is 15 years old and is a disciple of leading danseuse Kalaimamani Smt. Srekala Bharat, artistic Director, Thejas, in Chennai, India.  

Since her arangetram at the age of 9, Bhavya has not looked back and has been performing regularly under the able guidance of her guru. She has won many awards. She has won a medal for excellence in Bharathanatyam from VDS Arts Academy. She has also received the Padmabhushan Dr. Padma Subramanyam Award for excellence in Bharathanatyam. She won the first prize in ‘Balar Chithirai Thiruvizha’ organised by Sri Sumuki Rajasekaran Foundation in Chennai. She has done several solo performances and has also accompanied her Guru in many others. She has been conferred the title of NATYA YUVA BHUSHAN for excellance
in bharatnatyam.
