Sean King was born in New Jersey, USA in September 1991, while his younger brother Anish was born in New Jersey, USA in January, 1994. Sean, his brother Anish, sister Anuka and parents currently reside in Bangkok, Thailand. Sean and Anish started learning Carnatic music and violin in the year 2000. The brothers are familiar with 72 melakartha ragas and 175 thalas.
Sean and his brother Anish performed their Arangetram (debut performance) on Carnatic Violin in July 2005 and gave four Duo Violin Recitals during the prestigious music festival in Chennai in December 2005. Sean and Anish also play and perform on the Western Classical violin.
