Shamini Logannathan’s induction into the world of Bharathanatyam was at the tender age of four. A keen student and fast learner, Shamini has since developed her talent and passion at SIFAS under the tutelage of senior dance guru Girish Kumar Panickker.

Shamini has achieved an ‘A’ grade in all (1st to 6th year) her exams in SIFAS. She successfully completed her Arangetram in July 2005.

Besides dance, Shamini is also keenly interested in art forms such as vocal music, oratory, poetry, story-telling and drama. She has participated in numerous inter-school, inter-zone, and national level competitions; clinching mostly gold and silver awards.
