ROOTS
Guru Aastha Chattaraj is a Kathak dancer from Kolkata, who started learning Kathak at the age of 3 from Smt. Bhaswati Bhattacharya. She later continued her training under Guru Vidhush Madhumita Roy and Smt. Indira Chatterjee. She completed the Sangeet Visharad final (5th Year) under Pracheen Kala Kendra in Chandigarh and secured 1st place in Kajalrekha Musical Foundation and Taalsen Academy in 2022.

PERFORMANCES
She has performed in many cultural shows organised by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. She is also a gold medalist at the state level Kathak competition organised by the government of West Bengal in 2020.

SINGAPORE INDIAN FINE ARTS SOCIETY
 Guru Aastha joined SIFAS in August 2024.
