Student Achievements

SIFAS proudly congratulates Ms. Manisha Sarkar, student of Guru Raguveeran, for receiving the Singapore Book of Records Award for the longest handmade Toran display at 70 metres!

This project was led by Ms. Manisha, Secretary of the Mountbatten Active Ageing Committee, with support from 30 seniors of the Mountbatten Art Club. The project started on 29th Oct 2024 and was completed on 4th Feb 2025, with the inauguration and display on 5th Feb 2025 at KCC Multi Purpose Hall, 51 Kampong Arang Road, S-436887.

This remarkable achievement celebrates unity and harmony among Singapore's diverse communities.
SIFAS is proud to share that Isabel Joshy, a dedicated Bharatanatyam student of Guru P N Vikas, has been honored with the prestigious "Meritorious Performer" award by Sri Parthasarathy Swami Sabha at the Bharat Nritya Utsav 2025.

This recognition is a testament to her dedication and hard work. We can't wait to see her achieve even more in the future!
