Guru Yuva Kalabharathy Tiruchy L. Saravanan trained under the late Shri K.S. Narayanan – Flute Vidwan, the late Shri V. Sundaresan – Violin Vidwan, violin exponent ‘Kalaimamani’ Shri Nagai R. Muralidharan and flute maestro ‘Sangeetha Kalanidhi’, Padmashri Dr. N. Ramani (under the Govt. of India Scholarship for Advanced learning).

An A ‘Grade artiste of All India Radio, He recently completed his Masters in music from Annamalai University and previously completed a B.A graduate in Indian Music from the University of Madras. 

ARTISTIC ACHIEVEMENTS
Guru G. Sridhar figures in the Limca Book of Indian Records for his 24-hr non-stop flute recital in the year 1991. He has released three Carnatic Flute solo albums, namely, Kuzhaloviyum, Shankaram and Skanda Malai. 


TEACHING EXPERIENCE
Guru Saravanan was a Carnatic vocal and flute tutor in Singapore Indian Fine Arts Society (SIFAS), La Salle College of the Arts, and a music teacher at the Global Indian International School & GICC Singapore. He was also a flute lecturer in Tamil Nadu Govt. Music College, Chennai.

SINGAPORE INDIAN FINE ARTS SOCIETY
Guru Saravanan has re-joined SIFAS as a carnatic flute tutor in 2022.
