An independent dance production that explores the realities of living with dementia through Indian classical dance.

The production delves into love and loss, the fragile nature of memory, the search for identity and meaning, and how relationships change when a loved one experiences memory loss. At its heart, Unsaid reminds us that even amid confusion and change, love continues to exist and can be felt in profound and unexpected ways.

Drawing from dancer and SIFAS alumna Anuja Varaprasad’s personal experience with her grandmother living with dementia, as well as her professional experience as a medical speech therapist working with older adults, Unsaid brings together personal stories, professional insight and a deep passion for the arts.
