Digital Productions
SIFAS YOUTUBE
The SIFAS YouTube channel was launched in 2020 to publish original works of SIFAS Productions featuring the creative efforts and talent of our tutors, students and alumni. From celebrations to reflections, to promote youth-led collaboration or to unify artists all across Singapore and the globe, SIFAS aims to continue engaging its online audiences through the medium of art.
AN ONLINE PLATFORMThese digital productions provide a platform for our tutors, students and alumni to conceptualise, compose and choreograph – in other words, present their narratives in the form of music-dance videos.

Reflections of a Migrant Worker
|
Conceptualised, produced and performed by SIFAS Alumni, celebrating and raising awareness of the literary talents of our migrant workers and to present their narratives lived experiences from their own lenses, through the medium of art.
The writer of this poem, N. Rengarajan, was awarded the 3rd prize at the inaugural Migrant Workers’ Poetry Competition in 2014 and he was generous enough to share with us more recent, unpublished works of his. His heartwarming poem, titled ‘என் அம்மா அப்பா வெளிநாட்டில்’, covers universal themes such as homesickness, reminiscence, and longing for loved ones. |
