ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENTS
Guru Rajesh Paravoor, who hails from Kerala, graduated in First Class with a National Diploma in Fine Arts and Applied Art from Govt. RLV College of Fine Arts, Tripunithura.

AWARDS & TEACHING EXPERIENCE
He is an artist and an award-winning professional photographer. He has 10 years of experience as a guest lecturer in several schools and has conducted special vacation classes. Guru Rajesh’s artistic works have been featured in the collections of well-known cine-artistes in Kerala and he has received awards for his paintings and photography. Namely, Kerala Lalithakala Academy State Award 2010 & 2012, Best Photography Award 2013 and 2016 from Kerala Malayalam Film Industry FEFKA. His paintings were also selected for International Watercolour Biennale India and IWS Canada. He has received a Special Appreciation Award from the International Watercolor Society (Argentina) in 2021.

Guru Rajesh' portraits feature in the personal collections of several eminent International artistes and high ranking officials, including Ustad Zakir Hussain and Ustad Amjad Ali Khan, High Commissioners of India and Sri Lanka.

SINGAPORE INDIAN FINE ARTS SOCIETY
Guru Rajesh joined SIFAS in June 2015. In SIFAS, he is our resident photographer for school events and programmes.
