ROOTS
Guru Shibani Roy started learning Hindustani vocal music at the age of 11 with Guru Smt. Manju Chakravorty, and later from Smt. Sanhita Majumder and Pandit Shantanu Bhattacharyya of Patiala Gharana.

FIRST CLASS MASTERS
She attained her Masters in Indian Music with First Class distinction from Khairagarh University (Madhya Pradesh).

TEACHING & PERFORMANCE EXPERIENCE
Guru Shibani is a regular performer of classical concerts, bhajans and ghazals. She has also composed music for concerts and Kathak dance programmes. In addition, she has taught in various leading schools in India.

SINGAPORE INDIAN FINE ARTS SOCIETY
Guru Shibani joined SIFAS in January 2015.
