Guru Sreeliji Sreedharan started learning Bharatanatyam at the age of 4, under Guru Sudha Vinu, a disciple of the Dhananjayans.
THE KALAKSHETRA FOUNDATION Armed with a First Class Diploma and Post Graduate Diploma in Bharatanatyam from the Rukmini Devi College of Fine Arts, Kalakshetra, Chennai, Sreeliji went on to make a mark with performances around the world. As part of the Kalakshetra Repertory Company, Sreeliji has performed at prestigious platforms like The National Games, Soorya Festival and at the 125th birth anniversary celebrations of Jawaharlal Nehru in Delhi, to name a few. SINGAPORE INDIAN FINE ARTS SOCIETY At SIFAS, she has been a regular face in all its productions like Prakruti Vikruti and Natya Yatra. She recently performed for the Darshana Series, an initiative of Apsaras Arts Dance Company. She is a sought after guru in SIFAS, under whose guidance, many students have won accolades and Best Student awards. Guru Sreeliji joined SIFAS in July 2015. |
